My name is Alida, after my adoptive grandmother, a great American lady who liked to sail, spearhead charitable committees, and shoot hood ornaments off select vehicles coming up her lengthy driveway.
Sun is my birth family’s name; it says so on the inexplicable gold necklace I wore when some folks in charge found me toddling around a bus station in Seoul. The doctor at my first orphanage figured my birthday landed around Halloween, if not smack dab on it.
I graduated from RISD, I live in New York, and I like traveling, sharks, and mazes.
I post my own work here, along with the work of people I know, with a little stockpiling of references for upcoming projects scattered about.
